Second Midterm Date
The second midterm will be Thursday April 1st, the last class before Easter break.
First Midterm Dates
Pending a final consensus in class, the first midterm will be Thursday Feb 11, the last class before Spring Break/Olympics break.
TA office hours
Brittany will hold office hours Weds 1-2 in K9512.1 (small office across the hall from the HW labs).
Using MATLAB
Matlab is installed on the IT Services - CaRS Distributed Computing Facility desktop in several computer labs across campus including AQ3148, AQ3145.2, AQ3144, Lib 3rd floor, WMC2502. The application is supposed to be in the general pool of available software and not restricted except by the license server.
Students enrolled in MATH 309 are given permission to use MATLAB. Please let me know if there is problem using this software.
Quiz
- The first tutorial quiz, based on the HW 1, will be Tuesday Jan 26. One easy question, one medium question, about 10 minutes.
